The human defence response plays an important role in determining and indicating colonisation in the lung of Cystic Fibrosis patients and also the effectiveness of antibiotic treatment. Workpackage 6 will investigate the association between key proteins of the innate immune response, the lung Microbiome with antibiotic administration and clinical outcome.
